The co-pilot to clients who want a coaching partner to live their best life.

Thomas coaches high-performance clients to lead themselves to their optimal best by understanding the connection or obstacle in thinking that limits realizing the level of joy, fulfillment, and personal success we intuitively know is possible.

Thomas’ background stands-out from most coaches in that his leadership experience spans executive, entrepreneurial, and military service roles. He has built a career around helping transform people, teams, and businesses through his unique collaborative ability to find the value others can’t see. Thomas inspires others to think differently about problem solving, leadership development of self and teams, and value creation leading to ground-breaking results.

Thomas earned his coaching professional certification from the renowned Hudson Institute, is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified coach, and holds certifications in Leadership Circle Profile and Collective Leadership Assessment. Today, he continues his studies at the NeuroLeadership Institute to integrate the neuroscience of learning, motivation, and change to help clients develop new habits, skills, and behaviors.

Thomas has helped guide strategies for leaders of several global brands including Ford, Microsoft, Aston Martin, and Amazon. He has served in executive leadership roles such as chief strategy officer and global client solution partner for some of the world’s largest creative, media and technology transformation agencies (VML, Wunderman Thompson, POSSIBLE). Thomas founded three businesses in tech and media with successful exits, and today serves as an advisor to early-stage companies preparing to scale.

Most recently, Thomas designed STRATA, a two-part leadership development program for executive leadership teams that measures and optimizes individual and collective performance.

Thomas and his bride Jana live with their furry family in a small village north of Chicago nestled on Lake Michigan.

The breakthrough! The successful development or sudden advance. That a’ha! moment when a seemingly abstract puzzle becomes a clear picture.

We know we are capable of anything, yet breakthrough moments like these seem random and attainable only through relentless persistence.

And when they do happen, we feel relief to have found a way, and frustration that it took so long to know something we intuitively already knew.

At the high point of my career in media and technology, my life-altering breakthrough was set in motion after being air-lifted out of the Cascade Mountains with a life-threatening traumatic brain injury.

Recovery was a challenging experience, and presented hard questions about meaning, values, and purpose.

The answer came into focus after immersive study of neural plasticity, self-determination theory, neurolinguistics, cognitive behavioral therapy, and positive psychology.

To help others learn how to effectively approach the challenges that shape who we are, and want to become.

Adversity is simply a part of the human experience. The struggles and hardships – physical, mental, spiritual, intellectual, or emotional – are what teach us the most about ourselves and how to navigate life.

My values and passion for coaching are grounded in this idea.

How people might see difficult challenges in a new light could be helpful to those who frequently struggle or avoid the challenges in life only to miss an opportunity to better themselves and help others, and better understand what it is that holds each of us back from reaching our highest potential.

On a personal note…
